55 love affair...

Hello Friends! I am way late on posting this shoot that I did back in February, but better late then never! Tessa Kim designs the most beautiful headpieces and veils for brides. She hand crafts each petal to create an exquisite flower. Then she hand paints each flower, making each piece truly custom for brides. It's true she is making my veil.....TOTALLY STOKED about it!!!!! Tessa just launched her fall 2011 collection and I got to be part of her styled shoot.

I created a background that reflects her unique and vintage headpieces. I took pages from an old book and started taping them up on the wall. I added grey tool, lace, and feathers to give the wall texture and dimension. Take a looksie:

The Models were stunning!

One of my favorites from the collection! I love the vintage bridal hat...complete with feather. heart.

come fly with me...

Frank & Anthropologie are all the inspiration I need to create The Wedding Pantry's window display for the month of March. I LOVE paper! I am an avid scrapbooker, paper hoarder, paper lover. I'll buy paper instead of groceries! It was no surprise that I would take one look at Anthro's window display of paper dresses @the spectrum and go gaga. I used basic wrapping & tissue paper you would find at any crafts store and let the inspiration flow. Please enjoy!

Eva admiring the detail I am sure;]

Thank you Eva @the wedding pantry, for letting me express my creative side. You are an inspiring friend:]

Wedding Pantry gettin did...

Eva had no idea when she invited me to become her PR intern, that I had a bag of tricks up my sleeve:]
I started by taking down her Christmas decorations...[in February] & making hanging flower balls and garlands.
We started by making some yarn balls. Then we made flowers out of coffee filters. We dipped them in paint to give them a romantic color

we LOVED it so much that we turned some into lampshades!

Stay tuned for March when I do the Wedding Pantry's Window!
